FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is a Ghost?

Simply put, a ghost is energy. The Law of Energy Conservation states that energy can’t be created or destroyed, only changed. Einstein’s theory of relativity states that mass and energy are interchangeable. We are composed of energy (mass) and when we die, it is changed.

What Are ORbs?

If you ever want to start a heated debate, this is the question to ask. Orbs appear as white circles in photographs and videos. Most are dust, bugs, water particles, pollen, dander or other contaminants that get captured in the light of a camera. Some are simple manifestations of spirit energy and can even be seen with the naked eye. You have to consider atmospheric conditions and what was happening at the time that the picture or video was taken to determine whether it is a spirit orb or not.

What is the best piece of equipment to use on an investigation?

There is no piece of equipment that is best for everyone. The best one would be the one that you feel comfortable using and helps you get good evidence. The most important thing is to know exactly how it works and how to use the piece of equipment.

What are shadow people?

Shadow people are seen as black, human-shaped figures that are often interpreted as being paranormal. They have no features, although some are seen wearing a fedora type hat (Hat Men). Some investigators think they are a type of ghost or spirit. Other investigators think they are demonic entities made of dark energy. Some investigators theorize that shadow people are extraterrestrial or inter-dimensional beings.

How Do I become a paranormal investigator?

The best way is to join a group that uses a mentoring program to train new members in the field. Before joining a group, read as much as you can about the subject and attend lectures on the subject that are given by experienced investigators. Contact a group that you feel is reputable and professional. DO NOT pay to take courses that promise certification as a professional paranormal investigator. They are a waste of time and money.
